By Bill Calcutt, published 20/5/2013

The term is used as a derogatory label to characterise any discussion about core national values as the deliberate exploitation of prejudices.

Spindoc perhaps you should take the Red Pill and expand your horizon/perspective a bit. Or go down the Rabbit Hole, or step through the Looking Glass with Alice in Alice and Wonderland.
My long comment was made in response to all of the essays featured on Martin's comment, all of which from my perspective are atrocious - and yes are all very much about the Christian and Western "culture" of death which now rules to here.

Bill Calcutt’s premise seems to be, that it is just awful for people who oppose his views on history and social justice, to label his views with derogatory names, or to stereotype his supporters with derogatory labels.

Gee Bill, as an opponent of your own particular worldview, I am used to being labeled by your side as a redneck and a bogan, but I never cry “foul!” over that. As a person who obviously has some education and an ability to think rationally, I am sure that if you thought about it, you would concede that all ingroups of all stripes routinely label outgroups with offensive names. That is just a normal part of group psychology.

And as a person who’s every cause it automatically labeled “racist!” by people on your side, I find it amusing that you would get all teary eyed about your opponents returning the complement, and labeling your causes with sneery (and literally appropriate) names.

If I could be so bold to suggest, Bill, that a common failure of the people on your side of the political and social divide, is to insist that their opponents are morally degenerate, because we will not adhere to moral principles which your own side constantly advocates, but has no intention of adhering to themselves?
