War is hell for animals too : Comments

On Anzac Day let's commemorate the donkey while we think of Simpson.

individual- Misanthropes hate the human race. What other possible conclusion can you draw from the suggestion that the planet would be better off without human beings?

What he said is not generally true. Some people bring misery on others. Some don't. So what? This view is common amongst environmentalists especially many of whom see humans as a plague but unsurprisingly don't include themselves.

Yeah, and then there's the famous story of the Polish cavalry charging Hitler's panzers in 1939. I used to feel soooo sorry for those horses.

BUT then I found out that the Germans used them later to pull guns and such-like during the invasion of France and the USSR. Those god-dam treacherous horses were perfectly happy to aid and abet the enemy. Although they may not want to be saddled with this, the unbridled treachery of these beasts needs to be reined in and if we get the bit between our teeth we should be able to stamp out the mane problem being that animals just don't care who they fight for.

We need to breed more patriotic animals if we are going to let them help us to fight evil.
