Living like a caveman has its fans, but for reasons of nostalgia and sentimentality, not science.

Hi JoM

Your points may well be accurate. Although cavemen plant-animal food ratios may differ according to location, tools-weapons used and many other factors.

For example I'm aware that the bushmen people of Southern Africa rely much more by weight on plants collected by women that mean hunted by the men. However both food groups are esssential to there diet.

In contrast to bushmen Eskimo's relied almost exclusively on meat as cold minimised plant life in their environment.

I disagree JoM.
Ancient Humans have never been herbivores, or they would have had to spend all their time eating truckloads of plant matter to satisfy their large energy needs in a time when they were far more energetic just trying to survive, than today.

Protein from meat or fish was needed and was hunted for regularly, as is proved by scientists/anthropologists who have found hunting tools and evidence of meat consumption from many ancient human anthropology digs.

Human brains evolved from a protein diet....no doubt about it.

Think about it.
Believing human evolution because so many science-proved relics and human bones etc have been found,
or,
a belief that a humans just 'appeared' on the earth suddenly from an invisible being in the sky?

Hmmmm.......
