Bribery is not a fair interpretation. This is how business works in Asia. works being the operative word. In our society we don't refer to it as bribery either, we call it paying for licenses, permits, council fees, this'n that tax, compliance, union pay outs etc. etc.
Our practices are way more corrupt than theirs.
