we in the west are very familiar with authoritarian thought and regimes. We've fought and defeated their expansion and cruelty tthroughout the 20th century. Many lives were lost. We understand the results of dictatorships. Our liberal democratic western heritage is the reason for that.
The communist Chinese rejime is just another example of totalitarianism. To try to disguise it as the epitomy of Confusion practise and thought is at best misguided.
Why would we adapt to or adopt a thought process and practise that would undermine our wery effective and widely accept freedoms ... those that follow from our liberal democratic heritage. Our western traditional rhought.
You may want to adopt these Confusion thoughts and traditions but I'd say ... if you do then you might wish to consider Socretes choices.
