Given there are no comments on this yet i suppose I will go first. This is the first i have heard of the business excellence framework but i must say i am intrigued and excited by what it stands for. I first saw reference to it in a unit of my MBA. the discussion was about the Rural ambulence victoria. Given the change to RAV I suspect the BEF has been around for at least 5 years as this is the time frame of the report we are discussing etc.
If anybody ahs more info or suggestions then could they add to this email. Is the BEF based on the workings of Bolman and deal ?? If not how was it created?

In reading the article on Australian Business Excellence Framework I thought I would add that we are helping a client at the moment implement the framework by starting with a customised Staff Perception Map to diagnose just how close or far away staff believe the organisation is to the goals/values/ criteria for Australian Business Excellence.

Staff will complete a 5 minute online survey that will then be interpreted as a Perception Map to benchmark the starting position for the intervention process.
