How sense can create nonsense, and we knowingly accept the nonsense over the sense.

Yep, my mistake. Same shape. I stand corrected.

Not that it matters.

No comment about the point raised that it doesn't really matter that our senses can play heuristic tricks and that they evolved for us to survive? They do well enough and that it can be dangerous to ignore them.

I mean, there's some interesting comment here that entails much more than a flippin shape.
