A rush back to the worst elements of the Joh era, with planning laws going and free gifts being thrown at 'developers'.
State schools will be turned into extensions (beyond what Bligh has already done) of the Christian church, particularly if Tim Mander ends up as Education minister, although it really makes no difference if it is him or Fiona Simpson, or any other of the new breed of old heads.
There will be a rush, even more than under Bligh, of new mines and publicly supplied ports and rail lines for mines.

The Liberals missed a chance to create a genuine liberal party, one that took in some of the agrarian elements of the old Nats, and developed a Qld version of liberalism that appealed to city voters as well as country voters.
The LNP is just a headless chook, although it is probably safer to have Cando at the helm that one of the Johboys.
