So Susan, if Gillard didn't like the system of jailing babies in a system set up by men she could have stopped jailing babies, instead she jails them as "security risks" to 23 million of us.

If she didn't like the wretched war on Afghanistan she could have ended it instead of even today saying it is a great war.

She does not have to blindly support the Israeli killing machine but to date she has never said a word in defence of the Palestinians. She even voted against the Palestinians being in UNESCO.

She doesn't have to blindly support propping up the dead car industry, or any of the other male dominated crap.

In short she does not have to be a clone of Maggie Thatcher.

I believe Julia can see the benefits of a car industry making small to mid sized cars. People these days do not want the large sedan.
So money for retooling would be beneficial to us all.
Even fleet cars are mid size now.

Gillard's still got a long way to go before she catches up with Maggie Thatcher's record of war and political extremism and so far seems to have built more things than torn them down.

However, like every other PM - male or female - she will eventually become part of the machine that empowers and sustains her.

That's how The Game is, was and always will be played.
