...China will be exploited for all the money its worth. Human rights in China are of no significance to the West, and the West awaits the rise of a Chang Kai-shek, a political paragon who will beg for western assistance. The only question appears to be, how will these events coordinate in future?

Interesting and thought-provoking points. It is amazing how many Chinese people are waking up globally to the fact that they don't have to live with repression: other people don't.

Their government and its shocking labour camps and barbaric oppression of voices just reflects deep-seated fear of change. AND it is inhuman, which makes no-one welcoming or comfortable with the so-called 'rise' (ie latter day time-delay neo-colonial aspirations) of the morally frozen leaders of China.

Chinese people - and indeed the whole world- should stop ignoring the 2011 Nazi-like situation of attempted genocide in Tibet. There are no excuses for what is happening.

It would be great if all the Chinese people living in freedom could be brave, and fully take in the barbarity of what is actually happening in Tibet, East Turkestan etc, instead of living in denial and parroting propaganda, and look with clear eyes towards their own freedom. We wish them well finding courage. No amount of shopping will fill the moral vaccuum.
