By Rohit Revo, published 26/7/2011

Since John Howard left power the relationship between Australian and India has cooled because of government actions.

And there's more. The all powerful Greens have not only confirmed No Uranium to India but they want to stop Australian coal sales to India (and everywhere else).

Our inner-city Latte masters (rich, no kids...) don't care for normal Australian concerns now.

Family orientated Indians are more collateral damage of Bob "Green" and Co's policies.

Indian people, in general, are soft spoken, dedicated and hardworking people. I know over a half dozen of them and they are really nice folks.

I don't know to what extent relations have gone back to normalcy; all I know is common Indian citizens have formed poor perception about our system. You ask any Indian to walk down the street at midnight and he'll fumble. A couple of unfortunate instances have caused huge damage.

Our government has taken enough steps to make them feel safe and secure; but the wound is not going to heal so soon :-(
