if Australia allows any other nation or entity to allow its armed forces to be used in secret unaccountable wars with no paper trails, then we may as well kiss our sovereignty goodbye. But then, from the Boer War, Gallipoli and the War to End All Wars, we've always fought on behalf of King and empire, so just how sovereign are we today anyway?

I basically agree with what Kellie has to say.
But which state is the biggest terrorist of them all? http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Terrorism/Terrorism_watch.html Posted by Ho Hum, Thursday, 19 May 2011 3:53:36 PM

One gets the impression, from reading Kellie Tranters anti western rant, is that her sympathies are with the enemy.

Dear Kellie, in constantly tying to increase the significance of such topics to the level of passion you have for them, are you not also signaling that these topics are already of minority interest?
You can pump it, heat it up, wind up the irrational rhetoric and throw in a stack of like minded opinion. In the end, this is just another fringe topic from a fringe dweller. We all place value on human life, we all have objections to the horrors of “war” and of course we don’t like our military to be in harms way even though that is what they have elected to do on our behalf. What I don’t think we need and especially our military, is the constant, grinding, carping, appeasing progressives, who take such delight in undermining the political will to take a stand against aggressors. It suits your case admirably to “redefine” any words we use to describe conflict. I don’t think it matters at all to Australians if we describe them as wars on anything, unless of course, as in your case, you wish to exact some international legal retribution upon our politicians and defense forces for their participation. Perhaps it is time to reflect upon your candidacy as an independent. In the grand scheme of representing your electorate I suspect that your personal passion will be somewhere around 150th in the list of electoral issues. Let’s put the “T” back in Ranter. For goodness sake, leave this stuff to the University debaters, join the real world, get over it and move on. Otherwise you might end up as the female equivalent of John Pilger. Urr, yuck.
