The New Transport Department, the RTA and Outcomes Management : Comments

The new Transport Department is a good start, but we have seen many other attempts fail. The colonial model of the RTA explains why.

Mr Mant has it right, there are many retrospective sad thoughts from previous ministers about how "nothing really changes". Wise heads know that change happens from within, not from above; but a champion is a wonderful thing and the O'Farrell Government has time to get the settings right.
