Was Reagan's policy of taking a gun to a gunfight the right one after all?

But why stop at Reagan? Shouldn't it be Nancy's astrologer who gets the credit?

Seriously, a look at the Soviet national accounts during the decade leading up to 1990 tells us a lot more about the reasons for Communist collapse than any analysis of Reagan's posturing.

the urge to see reagan as an exemplary 'leader' is astounding! so many americans appear to be persuaded by a (very poor) actor that he (the actor) was a 'good' president ... please don't allow this cinema-think to creep into australian politics.
