Seventeen year old girls can only expose photos of footy club predators because they took them in the first place.

Storm plus tea cup, equals a storm in a teacup. Todays headlines are yesterdays 'what was it'?

In a few years all this will be just another blip or is it blimp or a microscopic point in history.

Since the dawn of time, well maybe, humans have battled a war on or is is against sexual behaviour.

It perhaps doesn't matter how civilised we try to be, there are much more primal behaviours that triggers certain naked and primitive responses.

There would appear to be a large degree of vouyerism related to the primal behaviour of footballers and teenage girls.

One interesting point, is that females we have been told mature at a much faster rate than males, and are usually at least 2 years ahead of males of a similar age.

But then when it comes to sex, the message is totally different, females than become powerless, lacking maturity to be responsible for their own choices and decisions. Thus then they become not responsible for their own behaviour.

lovely to demonise football players or those who are somewhat successful. This whole episode is no difference from what is going on in the rest of our godless nation where secularism is bearing its fruit through child abuse, std's, homosexuality, hatred, violence. Secularism teaches its all about me and getting what I want. Why are we surprised that when men are worshipped as gods they have sex with immoral girls who throw themselves at them. A book written on our pollies sex lives would be banned with adultery, homosexuality, fornication all being part of the daily routine. They set the tone. Our current mob in power leave much much to be desired. To think these footballers are any better or any worse than the highest form of authority in this country is a joke. They demonstrate along with all others the desperate need man has of a Saviour. Ironically the ones who need Him the most are usually the ones who mock him because instead of admitting their hopeless failure they want to continue in the pig pen. Interesting I suspect that many who want to demonise this football manager defended Bill Clinton for his gross acts.

It is impossible for predatory behavior to decrease under secularism. The amount of child abuse today makes the wicked paedophile priests look mild. We are reaping the fruits of very sad secular humanism dogma.

'We need a culture where clubs regard their players as a 365 day a year responsibility, and not just people you focus on during training or a game.'

Quite the opposite.

Employers are not responsible for employees, particularly in the employee's private life. The very root of the problem (pun intended) is the bailing out of players, and the PR machine of the clubs protecting individuals from consequences. Players brought up cocooned in this way, and spoon fed 'media training' and 'education campaigns' never learn to be independent human beings, rather swapping their parents for club minders.

They are adults.

When a player commits a crime, they should be on their own. No club lawyers, and it should also not in any way affect their employment. It is none of their employer's business.

Perhaps they sign contracts to the contrary now, but unless explicitly agreed and signed, getting drunk, having sex and pretending to have sex with animals and taking pictures in your own time is a basic human right.

A crime is something there is a law against. There is no law against taking photos of yourself or having consensual sex. There are laws against stealing, invasion of privacy, defamation and slander though.

Houllie

A question is whether these blokes would still be the same tossers if they didn't play footy. I suggest not. In my experience, many footballers are nice enough by themselves but painful to be around when with team-mates. Boxing seems to be the opposite. The world has seen plenty of troubled boxers, but most were better people after they started in the sport.

However, while I think a bit less of men who sleep around, I agree that this isn't quite the scandal that some pretend. From much of the media commentary, you would think that they had murdered Kim Duthie. Whatever people think of casual sex (and I know that you are all for it), the same moral judgements need to be applied to both genders. If the footballers are sleaze, so is she.
