Take medicines seriously and help Close the Gap : Comments

Proper dispensing of medicines in remote Aboriginal communities would improve life expectancy significantly.

Its outrageous to suggest that we continue to preserve and support dysfunctional communities. If services are withdrawn or reduced, then people may be motivated to leave these communities. If not, then the inevitable consequences of limited health services could lead to a population reduction in these communities. What about the prodigiously high birth rate since the "baby bonus" came in? I certainly can't ask to transfer my public housing entitlements to any rural or remote area of my choice on cultural grounds, even based on my cultural background and being of European descent. Dinner Plain.........no for me. THe edge of the desert..........yes for them because of the mob of hangers on that benefit economically from the indigenous industry.
