I cannot resist replying to this misinformation.
Don’t Quit When You’re Ahead says General David Petraeus.
How can you be ahead, when after nearly 10 years of warfare it is unsafe for the invading forces to leave the security of their fortified areas?
Why did the puppet president and the Neocon Gang of Cheney, Rumsfield et al, think that they could prevail in Afghanistan, when the Russian and others before them had failed?
It is obvious that the US did not learn anything from the debacle in Viet Nam.
I have news for them.
The war they are in there is not winnable. Give up and get out and save a few lives.
The Opium crop and the oil pipeline are not worth it. If you continue there are only two outcomes.
The US will go bankrupt and have to get out.
The Chinese will lose patience and foreclose on them, with the same result.
