Does any one see that a strong China can be a good foil to the power of the US? Could competion between the US and China have a positive efect for the US. Our satus as a hyper power is remenicent of a monoply, and in my opinion bad for the US in the long run. Having another nation that can compet and chalenge the US is a catalyist for development and inovation. Does any one think the US would have gone to the moon, if the Soviet Union hadn't launched Sputnik?
