Trump's apocalyptic rhetoric echoes nuclear annihilation : Comments
By Alon Ben-Meir, published 21/4/2026Trump's warning that 'a whole civilization will die tonight' was more than bluster-it was a reckless invocation of nuclear destruction that shattered diplomatic norms and reignited questions about his fitness to command American power.

Most of the news slop everyone in the west eats is from 'un-named sources' mhaze.
It's one of western media's favorite tools. You do realise the person he showed the clip of was ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson? He's quite well known, not some 'unknown reporter'. But that's how much you'd know. If he said it, it's most likely true. Here was on Garland Nixon's show streamed 2hours ago. LARRY JOHNSON - US BASES IN THE MIDDLE EAST HAVE BEEN EFFECTIVELY DESTROYED http://www.youtube.com/live/rhIMBz3l0Lc He was on 'Dialogue Works' last week, probably due on again tomorrow. Larry Johnson & Col. Wilkerson: Iran Just FULLY Opened the Strait of Hormuz – It’s OVER for Trump (179k views) http://www.youtube.com/live/ionE4H44LUA He was on 'Judging Freedom' 3 days ago Larry Johnson : Who Controls Hormuz? (169k views) http://www.youtube.com/live/geWpX8w7BNU On 'Daniel Davis Deep Dive' yesterday... Iran War End: Best Case Scenario /Larry Johnson & Lt Col Daniel Davis (127k views) http://www.youtube.com/live/tLlaKzFZnvw On Glenn Diesen's show a week back. Larry Johnson: Trump's Naval Blockade & Ceasefire Collapse (320k views) http://youtu.be/78osgairBb4 That's some 850k views in a week on 4 different channels, probably other places too, he has his own less known channel called 'Counter Currents' and has his own blog called SONAR21. http://www.youtube.com/@counter_currents_channel/videos http://sonar21.com/ Even the MahmoodOD 8 min clip I shared which was taken from his livestream had 47k views. You'd know who Larry Johnson was if you didn't have your head lodged permanently in the sand. These YouTube channels provide most of the info I get, and all the information the rest of you remain constantly clueless about. To the point that for me, when most of you have an opinion its like hearing people who remain constantly oblivious to most of the facts and important information, and why I often respond in a manner similar to 'what is the author and other commenters even talking about'? There's lot of different channels in lots of different areas that all provide useful info and different perspectives. You listen to the 'official narrative' 'stay-dumb' stuff. I listen to the more informative 'counter narrative' content. Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 24 April 2026 8:22:50 AM

Yet again, AC, you'll fall for anything.
Johnson worked for a short period for the CIA in a junior role.....more than thirty years ago. He's a purveyor of all sorts of discredited conspiracy theories and never lets the fact or lack of fact get in the way of his attempts to get eye-balls to view his sponsored assertions. There isn't the slightest evidence for this latest claim and the facts about how the US armed forces and chain of command work means that the claims are not just unlikely but laughable. He's been a no-name commentator for over 30 years but tries to dine out on hos brief small-time career with the CIA in his youth. But I'm sure he has a small group of sycophants who buy every claim and forget every error he makes. Again, you need to learn that these people are making YouTube videos in order to get people like you to watch and come back since they get paid by YouTube for each set of eyes they can con into watching. And to do that they tell you what you want to hear knowing that that's the way to get a paying audience. Posted by mhaze, Friday, 24 April 2026 8:43:01 AM

Hmm...
I thought Trump as Commander in Chief would already have nuclear football and nuclear codes, right? So I don't really get it, maybe I have been had this time mhaze, (Difference between me and you is I'll admit it when it happens, unlike you) - but its hard for me to think Larry Johnson could get such a big thing wrong, I could probably believe that MahmoodOD might fall for an AI video of Larry Johnson, if people are making them. But I should be smarter than this... It looks like the Larry Johnson clip on MahmoodOD might have come from Judge Andrew Napolitano's 'Judging Freedom', or at least been taken on that same day, Larry's wearing the same shirt in both videos. BOMBSHELL: Trump REQUESTS NUCLEAR CODES & GETS DENIED ACCESS By US ARMY! http://youtu.be/KfB-fYR2EM4 Larry Johnson : Who Controls Hormuz? Yes, it did come from that video.

The stuff I listen to runs counter to the official narrative mhaze.
You listen to the media for the masses version, 'news-slop' and I listen to experts who are no longer constrained by the system and can speak the actual truth. TRUMP AND NETANYAHU'S LATEST DECEPTION http://youtu.be/rkUjXhuhuaI IRAN: A Proven World Power /Lt Col Daniel Davis & Matt Hoh http://www.youtube.com/live/oGQqrnUqV8E Why Dan Bilzerian Is Doubling Down on Calling Randy Fine "Fat Jew" w/ Dan Bilzerian http://youtu.be/XhNBJCWqLOk Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 24 April 2026 6:45:11 PM

Honestly, AC, Is there nothing you won't fall for. Trump doesn't need the codes since there's no chance that he wants to use nukes. But, since he's Commander-in-Chief of all US forces, if he wanted them he'd get them. And if any official wanted to stop that, they'd be sacked in minutes and probably charged with mutiny.
But what's AC's evidence? A YouTube show by Iranian mouth-piece called Mahmood OD. And what's his evidence. A report from some no-name reporter. And what's the reporters evidence? An unsourced rumour from someone who wasn't even in the meeting where all this supposedly happened.
The level of gullibility required to fall for that type of thing is off the charts.
