Wisconsin lessons for Labour : Comments

When people come together in solidarity directed toward social justice they are capable of great sacrifice and unrivaled joy.

When the Wisconsin government starts shooting protestors, then it will be appropriate to compare the situation with that in Egypt. Protesting to protect time-and-a-half and union featherbedding is a long way from protesting for the right to free elections and free speech.

But I see from Wikipedia that the Wisconsin protests didn't achieve anything except a huge clean-up bill anyway:

Do you really think our labor movement needs any lessons in how to disrupt services and shaft the taxpayer?
