The light's not shining : Comments

By James Cumes, published 18/3/2011

The New South Wales election will be a futile struggle with neither side prepared to admit the true state of affairs.

  1. Pages:
  2. 1
  3. 2
  4. All
It seems the author is right: no light is shining because the article itself is missing when one clicks the main page link.

Could this be a subtle test of the propensity of users to comment without having read an article? If so have I passed or failed?

I am happy for this vacuous comment to be deleted if/when the article is posted.

never let a good heading
end making comment[opinion]

so work with what we got
""neither side prepared to admit the true state of affairs.""

this is not alone a nsw problem
its global..[heck qld alone owes in excess of 65 billion]
neither side wants that discussed

also no one wants to talk about the next big bubble
THATS GOING TO BUST SOON
municiple bond market bonds

the issue was discussed on
http://www.youtube.com/user/RussiaToday#p/u/15/Wer2V_33gqk
http://www.youtube.com/user/RussiaToday#p/u/12/PRREY3nOncU

cant save the destination
its called
'Peasants 0 - Monarchs 100,
go get some scalps!'

the trouble being there is no asset
underpinning the value accorded it in a imaginary market
but the debts created are very real

its called agnotonogic capitalism
based on miss info in order to decieve[a ponzi /pyramid sceme]
that implants doudts in the mark..

then offers their believable[authoritive solution..
often based on different risk facter's or presumptions
often labled immaterial capitalism

its often based on digetal rights managmenty..where the aura of the digetal..masks the real costs or values[thus sukking in the ignorant polititions]..creating adverse debt

the lights not shinning because the last player went home
and the next player just goes along with the scam

in the end like all ponzi scenmes there is a collapse..but by then you hand it off to a new leader[usually a woman]

anyhow its worth watching all his reports
its about the only honest reporting ..on finance left

forrest push the all button
http://www.onlineopinion.com.au/view.asp?article=11765&page=0

its a great article
talks about much the same as i did
but not in as much detail

still its a good timely topic
little wonder its hard to get to read

QUOTE
''Important as they are to millions of "ordinary" Australians, these issues will not be discussed, at least in the terms I have described, in the NSW elections.

The outcome of those elections will be determined in other ways, applying different criteria.""

the proposed cure is wotrse than the disease
realise its all been built
and paid for

now we just need to keep it going
not let others destroy it or control it

""However, housing, wholesale funding, currency speculation and even more fundamental issues such as the nature and impact of credit and debt will determine the future of virtually every Australian man, woman and child in very real ways.

Their children and, unless we are lucky, even their grandchildren, will be blessed or impoverished by decisions we take or do not take on these issues today.

For example, it is not outrageous to suggest that the global economy will suffer a major collapse between now and September or October.

Though they have spent trillions of dollars, the United States remains on the edge of an economic and financial abyss much more menacing than anything in its previous history.

Allowing for the smaller scale of our economies, we and many other countries are teetering on much the same sort of edge*.

Therefore, in the next six months or not much more, we are likely to experience a situation like 1932 in which every country will look after itself and the devil may take the hindmost.

The Group of Twenty has done little to resolve issues or avoid conflict.""

because they got no idea either..!

REVIVE LINCOLN’S MONETARY POLICY:
Government Prints Money

ie stops lending it from bankers
who love ursury
who love controling govt ..by debt

“If our nation can issue a dollar bond,
it can issue a dollar bill.

The element that makes the bond good, makes the bill good, also.

The difference between the bond and the bill is that the bond lets money brokers collect *twice the amount of the bond
and an additional 20%,

whereas the currency pays nobody
but those who contribute directly ..in some useful way.

http://www.bushstole04.com/monetarysystem/fed_lincoln.htm

my cure is much easier
re-monetise coins to equate one cent=one dollar
10 cent=-10$
20 cent piece=20$
etc etc

leave the money traders keep their control
over the federal reserve fiat bank note system

but return the mint back to govt..
[govt pays in coins]..under right of signorage

[ps any value bank-note costs 7 cents each to create;regardles of value...]

here is how it works now
banks generate credit even cheaper...[when we apply we sign..this blue ink signature *is the value that allows them to issue us credit..the bankers have made these blue ink promises securities..have sold these worthless securities into the money market]

got our security..sold it[got their money back
then collect it back from us..AGAIN as we repay it
plus get intrest ursury on it TOO

worse govt does the same thing
gives them a bond[they sell it]..then get intrst and URSURY on it
and we need pay EVER MORE TAXES JUST TO PAY THE SCAMMERS

the only legal tender
in our govt constitution is coin
govt should only issue coin...the bond securitaisation market is bankrupt[recall govt bailed them out]..they are bust

yet
the banks resque no one

It's a coding issue Forrest. When I see the article in preview it doesn't show up, but when it goes on the site with the pagination the failure to close a <div> until after the end of the page means that in fact nothing shows. Not sure how the error got there, but it has been creeping in more frequently lately.

we will never 'know'..how the error got it
so we wont speculate..[likely much the same way the bug got into irans centrifuges];;ie malicious intent]..the worry is its happening more often..

so saying its sad many arnt taking intrest in the topic
its huge..[speculaters are speculating on the price of YOUR FOOD]

as the writer says we are only
7 meals away from anarchy

this is a seriously serious topic
even if you dont know...[but how could you know]
even the article couldnt be read...[realise how serious this all is]

here we have speculaers gambling on futures of our future food
this is even worse that govt subsidy to biogass..that has sen germany farmland turn into a monoculture of ge corn..

real [food] farmers cant afford to rent the land
big bio petrol has rented their fields to 'grow fuel]

not for food
but to make a subsidised fuel supplimant...
MANDATED to be added to fuel..decreasing fuel efficiency and actually damaging the engines

but even worse is the toopic mentioned in the article
SPECUKLATERS SPECULATING [controling] food cost and supply
greedy fools only intersted in making a dollar

the same mob lobbying for carbon credits
the same mob that sent govt into bailout mode
and now forcing empoverishment measures on the people

[while still getting bonus for their trades..
wrought by traitering..greed leading to treason]

why care you so little?
are you so blind you cant see the glimmers of truth?

if you think this topic dosnt concern you
dont complain when your hungry and the food is gone
or beyond what you can pay..

Of course the light's not shining. Labor Governments always run on throw-away batteries.

it would be nice if we could
individually point at a corrupt 'party'[as such]..
but this isnt the case...

its beyond party
beyond even lobby or the corruption of public service

to go looking for an innocent 'man'
is to miss the whole sceme has ben corrupted
everything from banking to secuirities
insurance to regulation
law and justice policing and enforcement

we haqve the vile running vileness of busines
so where is the cure..[why bother name calling..how can we fix this mess]

we need to restore deathduties
[those who plan and sceme cannot hold
their illgotten gain beyond the grave...[this means no family trusts]

all corperate entities
[non living thus non dying]..need to die as well

we need drop all taxation
just live off transaction taxes
and finantial services levies[insurance
govt in affect underwriting everyone within their juristiction]
not for proffit corperations]

of course honest money is a must
this is based on physical underwriting the theoretical
of course ursury is a crime..but why bother ..those who see no problem..dont listen to solution

its as if no-one even botherd to watch sbs lastnight
if you think ''casino jack and the united states of money'' was just about jack and the indians...you missed the reason and teaching of the canary in the mine

go watch the cutting wedge special
se the cake is despoiled

oh hell soon it will be obvious to all
but by then more will have died for no good reason

in times of war we die in distrust
when the hand of peace is offerd
[even if its intending to hurt you]
refusing to make peace..only prolongs war

seek you security to make peace
or reason to continue war?

This is a good article and a refreshing point of view when you consider the economic rationalist perspective they teach first year university students and high school students who do an economics unit.
