I'll beat my Alan B drum and suggest that there should be investigation of increasing rainfall and developing ocean food resources via ocean fertilization. The extra rainfall would come from the algae trapping more heat in the ocean's surface as well from the release of cloud seeding volatile sulphur compounds. There might also be more fish in the algae is a good source.

Only those fabricated events produced the sort of warming predictions that justified the scare. RCP8.5 is now dead because it became untenable to continue to pretend that its predicted fossil fuel emissions would ever occur.
