A lie but an often told one! the answer is no.
And in fact past ALP governments controlled unions take the accord during the Hawk Keiting years.
In the next few days a petition will be handed to Rudd, it reminds him of his pledges and promises about workchoices.
Why?
In his quest to win this election and unseat workchoices along with Howard Kevin has often made statements that concern workers.
The chances of unions controlling Rudd are zero, it is a known lie, miss used by unlovable people like our minister for industrial relations.
And win or not unions must face the challenges of change after this election, not too is a betrayal of share holders union members.
I watch that advertisement, the one that sees huge union men walk into a very small business in a very threatening way.
And know it is a lie, but know also some from some unions do act that way, not in a small business but on construction sites.
I have been victim to them, men better seen as bouncers outside a strip club.
But few unions would put up with that, even less in the future.
A proud union man once said he would die in the ditches for his union, I would be right there with you mate but it may be a lonely death!
I have nothing but contempt for the anti union lies, and great hope for our future but need only a return to fairness from Kevin and that is all he will give.

BD no need for concern, it has happened so many times and it will again.
But not once have I stepped back from idiots who defame the trade union movement.
Unions a difference exists.
Rudd is no unions man, unions right left and center know this and understand it.
While government lie machines broadcast this fear tactic, true unions not the idiot minority within some are concerned will we get a fair go?
I think yes but the challenge to get closer to members, to talk issues out, to understand the need for constant change constant improvement is forever.
In a thread one day ,maybe next year I will confront the threats used against other unions, bosses, workers and non members by a few in the workplace.
Do not even begin to think only bosses are past victims of thugs and mugs, in the long run these few have made victims of all workers no less than Howard.

Belly if you really believe that the unions will not control Rudd then you must live in some other country. The unions will control Rudd. Rudd knows they will. Gillard knows they will. They can say what they like but they know their jobs depend on doing as the unions want. Sharan Burrow has made that quite plain. The union members turned MPs have made it equally plain, the union members who would be MPs have also made it plain.
The ALP is another name for the ACTU and the sooner Australians recognise that fact the better!

The Unions will control Rudd in the same way that the Airline Pilots' Union controlled Hawke when he called in the Air Force.

As if Howard answers to nobody but himself (or Janet).

Communicat you do know better than that, while I understand your biases your claim is false, and you know it.
Kevin Rudd has form in QLD while in a Labor government.
He is known to be an economic rationalist.
And answer me what Labor leader federally was last controlled by unions?
Those unsure of Kevin Rudd's direction know this, the union bosses claim is known to be a lie by this federal government and its supporters.
Unions right left and center know workchoices if left in place will destroy fairness in the workplace.
For every union won pay rise two non unionists benefit.
I know Labor will win an election fought with lies and fear by this government.
And I know unions are 20% of the total so how very child like it would be for Rudd to rule only for them.
Communicat not for the first time I ask are you Joe Hockey? the lies seem much the same.

As the thread enters its last stages before drifting of the page I want again to say it is a lie.
Rudd will govern well but he is unlikely to favor unions.
Workchoices did the opposite it set out to destroy the union movement and lower wages in a bizarre dream we can ever compete with third world country's wages.
Our prosperity comes from mining and farm exports not from unfortunately other than minority cases manufacturing, low wages only make some forever rich by making other suffer.
Some blame for the fear selling to some must be laid at the feet of some unions.
Workchoices and John Howard if nothing else have highlighted some unions are too remote from the membership.
And in my lifetime held view those unions that do not understand honest respect shown by the union to its members is returned over and again may as well be selling newspapers.
20% of Australian workers are union members 55% benefit from union won wages and conditions, union members are not radical or a threat now or ever to any one other than some true bad bosses.

Much has been made of the Trade Union presence in the Rudd Shadow Ministry.

The current Howard Ministry -

PM -John Howard - Solicitor
Treasurer -Costello - Barrister
Transport -Vaille - Real Estate Agent, Local government
Foreign Affairs -Downer - Staffer (Fraser), Diplomat
Finance -Minchin - Solicitor
Health and Aging -Abbott - Staffer (Hewson) + Journalist
Attorney-General -Ruddock - Solicitor
Communications -Coonan - Solicitor + Barrister
Defence -Nelson - GP (plus former ALP member)
Industry -McFarlane - Farmer
Immigration -Andrews - Solicitor + Barrister
Agriculture -McGauran - Solicitor + Barrister
Science -Bishop - Solicitor + Barrister
Employment -Hockey - Lawyer
Environment -Turnbull - Solicitor + Barrister, Director
Human Services -Ellison - Solicitor + Barrister

Others prominent in the media

George Brandis - Barrister
Bronwyn Bishop - Solicitor
Petro Georgiou - Staffer (Fraser)
Danna Vale - Solicitor
Chris Pyne - Solicitor + Staffer (Vanstone)
Eric Abetz - Solicitor + Barrister
David Johnson - Solicitor + Barrister

If Trade Unions only make up about 16% of the Workforce, what percentage of the Workforce are Solicitors or Barristers?

Which group is more representative of the community?

It is 20% still not less yet and the question I wait for an answer is how much influence have business unions have over this government?
Watch lockout tonight on fox, understand the vast difference from those days and today.
But see the reason unions will never die.
Communicat amusing but not believable.

Belly,
I suppose that the Unions thought they could control Bob Hawke too when he was PM.

There may be a few airline pilots that would disagree with that notion, considering Hawke brought in the Air Force to break that particular strike.

Even the Libs probably wouldn't have gone that far back in those days.

Ok The other day a health worker and carer giver [ because they dont call them cleaners anymore] arrived at a neigbours.

The old lady asked her to take her shoes off because she had white carpert and we are in the middle of a tropical storm.

To add to her problems the front her her property had just been jug up by the councils and the cleaner had thick red mud right up her boots to her shin bone.
The cleaner told the old lady she COULD NOT take her shoes off because it was against the rules and she could get the sack for it.

Sounds to me like the members get just as bullied as the others at time.
My neigbour called us in tears so I went over and gave the cleaner a pair of bran new slippers still in the bag.

Nope! it was against the rules! So I called the head office where she worked and spoke to her co ordinator because the old lady by this time was quite upset.

No Price to Guess what head office said?

The Stupid bastards create more problems than they solve.

This of course is under Labour and their silly unions.

How to stuff a country= Vote for labour unions!

Gillard is a union thug herself. My God she sits in parliment pocking fingers and snearing at the PM.
Not that I like him but for goodness sake some manners please.

pale as we, you and I post we both need to understand a few basics, if our posts are tainted by hate, spite, lies or such they display only that.
This nurses aid, or cleaner have you thought your post out? is it the employers rules?
Can you assure me it is a union rule? it looks like an OH and S issue to me not a work to rule thing.
Wobbles rants on about one of Bob Hawks strike settling Rush's but can that be laid at the door of unions?
Is that post not proof unions can not control Labor?
Back to pale, I need to tell you my posts are not crafted to tell one side of the story, not to white wash the union movement, READ THEM, understand them!
I want more from my ALP.
I DEMAND MORE FROM MY UNION MOVEMENT!
But rest assured I truly think Australia is about to return honest government LABOR government and that all things taken into account it is the only option this country has.
Unions? do you pale think every unionist would support this person if your story reports the facts?
Such an action if it was based on union rules is one of a grubby useless person.
As higher up the page I spoke of thugs in union shirts, true enemy's of all who work.
I will forever stand against such lunacy.
At time pale you and I come close to agreeing, however every now and again you with force remind me of why I will forever be union, and Labor.
Your raw red necked savageness toward those you dislike is a battery recharge for me.
As Labors policy's are not unlike those Howard's hero Bob Menzies once held dear.
And as conservatives divide us, just maybe a return to a human face is called for in Australian politics your post is far from that.

Keep an eye out for the post I put up about Peter Costell and his new laws regarding freedom of speach ok?[ You will like this one!]
If Rudd doesnt step in and say something-
Ok lets give Rudd a chance to show his position.

I hope you visit here again pale, understand please it may well be the rules!
A employer can indeed sack a worker for breach of occupational health and safety laws.
Say not wearing the right foot ware, even glasses! how say would that person explain a foot injury that ended her work life if she had no shoes on?
If you look at my early posts you will see I have down loaded a spell check after some of them.
You will see I no longer hit the post key without running it.
You may even notice the content seems better thought out in my more recent posts, like an internal thoughts checker.
I even delete posts just before I POST IF IT LOOKS TOO HEATED.
But to blacken every trade unionist because of one?
Please understand right now in Sydney's bus ques trade unionist stand and wait and wonder why they do so while others take strike action.
Tonight they watch different sports or such but just like you like it or not unionists are Aussies too.

Dear Belly
Members of the CPSU went directly to Paul Keating with a request that someone I know intimately not be employed in a position that they were the best qualified for, indeed which would not have been up for grabs if they had not done over a decade of ground work.
One of those who went to him later boasted to me personally that PK had done as they requested...person in question was not a supporter of the CPSU.
I suggest that is pretty fair evidence that PK was controlled by the union movement.

I cannot see anything honest about Centenary House

Honest

Not for the people only labor Honest

Kevin Rudds front row union lackeys Honest

Julia Gillard Stabbed in Back Honest

Labor and Unions not standing up for 400 booted workers Honest

Booted workers from Kevin Rudds wifes Company WorkDirections Honest

Labor policy after all this time should be rock hard, even after all the plastic surgery, but alas it is so limp and so limp in fact that even VIAGRA will not help.

If you think the country is a better place now than it was when Howard came to power - and want more of the same - then vote for Howard again.

If you think it can be better, then vote for someone else.

I get the feeling that a lot of people are getting sick of being told how great things are when they are patently worse.

Belly, I think you misunderstood what Wobbles was saying. I took it to mean that the Unions would NOT control Labor because they didn't in the past, despite the scare-mongering of the Tories and used the pilots strike as an example.

Tapp you never answer questions why? you waffle on full of spite and charges often so remote from truth even honesty.
BUT YOU NEVER ANSWER QUESTIONS.
Your posts are often built around a headline or key words from another's posts but are as remote from truth and reality as they can be.
You intrude into threads stay of subject and leave your tiny party's name like the product of a bantam rooster steaming on the floor.
In your electorate the one the former ACTU chief Greg Combet is running in, you claim 40% support!
How can you do that?
Is it a two party seat, just you and Greg?
As remote as you are from reality is it time to ask is running a party a good idea?
Will you think about it?
Unions are not always saints, I know every one can do better, none however expect to control Rudd.
All understand only Rudd or Howard can be elected ,are you with me Tapp?
Did you understand that?
No fractured Senate will control us, no flood of independents one side or the other Australia is for or against this government .
Unions know while one side is better than the other a battle for workers rights is forever.
Truth is the better unions are already exploring that future one of hard work smart work and constant improvement not given freely by anyone.
I will post the results of your quest for power here Tapp but again say firmly it will be last or second last in that seat and no more than 1% of the vote.

Geez Belly i was refering to your post when you said honest

I will put my money where my mouth is belly you only say i will get 1% of the vote.

Belly it seems you are more inclinded to pander the labor line, well thats your problem.

No questions belly

Why didnt the unions act when i informed them of the NSW governments plan of privitisation the public transport system before the state election.

Why did not the unions act for the people dismissed from Kevin Rudds wifes workdirections company.

Like i said in % wise i give myself 40% you and your labor cronies would give combet 99%

So I think i will lose but will give him a run for what will be the peoples money.

Belly it amazes me also how more peodaphiles and corrupt people are still within the labor party being secretly hidden or is that a secret as usual.

Now belly real question for you to answer but even i know this is imposible due to the labor party dictatorship.

Tapp unlike you ,please let me be unlike you! I pander to no party no man no person ever.
I think out my views and act on them, again and again you try this tactic, saying without reason my posts are doing as I am told.
It is untrue.
I could post after post undermine some things about my party, but with all my heart know, indeed understand, only an ALP government can Begin to undo Howard's mess.
Deep within my memory's of a hungry childhood in a class based Australia I learn only Labor cares, I can not remember a perfect Labor government.
But know this conservative one is the worst of my lifetime.
Combet has not got any chance of not winning his seat, you have no chance of running second or third in that seat.
This question Tapp I ask you, are you qualified to speak on behalf of AUSTRALIA?
Is that a true description of your party?
Your continuing pedophile remarks about the ALP are beneath contempt, and I truly question do you not understand how low you go?
Do you not know it can only harm you to lie so often?
No person ,not one, who so badly miss uses children in my view as some have should not be hung!
I think that view is shared by most of my country men.
Tapp I have zero respect for you it is unlikely I ever will but I do hope you are well, or being treated for some of the problems so clearly on view in your posts.
Regards but no respect

I couldnt resist - sorry. But you set yourself up every time.
Will Unions control Rudd?
Umm Now let me see.
Its his party- his policies. He is the head of ALP.
Umm that is so long as his party wants him - as John Howard would say.
Umm let me scaratch my head now belly because this is such a difficult question.
Will Unions control Rudd?
Are you trying to tell me that dont already?.

Honestly Belly I am dissapointed with you for yourself.
The day Rudd goes against the parties unuions will be the day they vote him out and put up a new leader. They do that belly when their party doesnt agree.
Or had you not noticed in the last few years.?
belly belly Belly.

Why not try something like this.

" Labour will fight for your rights against the big bully bosses who make you get a Drs certificate to take a sickie.
Its every Aussies right to take a sicky at the bosses expense to attend a footy game with the boys and have a pie and beer.
Its our national badge of pride."

I reckon that will get you more votes than trying to mis lead them.

By the way I am thinking of changing teams if Rudd blocks this sneaky law to stop free speach by Costello and has the common decency to block Australia being turned into a islamic Ritual Slaughter Country.
Picture this- You and I working on the same team belly.
I will have them thinking its un Australian not to vote for the working class man.

It seems that you have said about the secrets you hold.

I not only speak off swansea regarding peodophiles and corruption but also to other incedents which this has occured.

Times when members have said we knew but just let it run its course.

These are the things that labor and liberal do not want the people to hear.

I do not have to speak of all people but represent the people in my electorate.
That is why we have so many people but alas labor and liberal think government is about them but no, what you say is for labor not the community. You stand for labor not the community.

Labor once was the peoples party which it didnt matter who you were, but now labor needs all the celebrities it can get.

Labor will with no dought screw the economy just look at the states.

Oh belly hows those who are going to get the sack from the public transport sector, will labor care not likely.
How about those people booted out from workdirections did labor or the unions care no.

Code of silence
On October 28 Keith Wright, ex-honourable member for Capricornia (ALP), was convicted of rape and indecent dealing with a girl under the age of 14, and sentenced to eight years in jail. Now that the verdict is final, and there can be no question that his once-promising political career is dead, his ex-colleagues have gathered, stiff-necked and righteous, to kick the corpse.

“We all knew about Keith”, a valiantly anonymous “powerful figure” in the Queensland government told the Sydney Telegraph Mirror on October 30. “We all saw Keith regularly in action ... It didn't surprise me that he slept with her [the then 13-year-old girl with whom Wright had what he called a “sexual relationship” for three years] -- and the thing that makes me feel real bad now is that I thought it was all a joke, the way he chased women.”

It was a joke until it threatened election prospects, and then it became serious enough to take action -- not to take steps to prevent Wright physically and psychologically abusing young women, but to remove him to a position in which his crimes were less likely to be brought to public attention

A former top West Australian public servant could face a maximum of seven years in jail after pleading guilty to seven charges of corruption in a Perth court.

Tapp it would be better not to debate with you you do use lies and you harvest the worst to insult my party.
Sadly you can always find filth in any group and your charges against individuals are true!
But even you must know not Representative of my party, and not from its members alone.
I have to ask you why do you continue to cry about public transport and your claims it is about to be privatized?
If it was so what? who would drive the private enterprise trains?
Can good government of any type justify waste?
Privatization is not always good practice but sometimes it is the only way, it is after all the quality of service that concerns me not a job for life that returns nothing to the public.
Again and again you get into the ALP are you ready to confront the fact of your impending failure?
Can you handle the rejection you and you views are about to have heaped on both?
Are you at some time pre Christmas prepared to admit voters do not share your ideas?
Tapp the Australian peoples party? in second last place or even last?
How can you, now at a time Australians are about to change governments ,put the ALP in office claim that name?

true!

Umm Interesting belly
Now what promises would those be please?
Ourselves along with the rest of Australia would like to know.

As a matter of fact its our right to know if he wants us to consider him for PM.
I have always voted Howard but NO MORE becausehe couldnt care less about suffering animals. Thats a pretty poor type of bloke in my eyes.

We are looking for an alternative but I dont hear Rudd screaming about Costello sneaking through a new law to stop freedom of speach.
I dont hear Rudd SCREAMING about turning Australia into an Islamic Ritual Slaughter country aand despite asking yOU to find out through your party you have ignored us now no less than three times Belly.

So please tell us what Rudd Promised the unions
We are all ears/.
You now have the floor.
[ Remember belly as far as unions go I dont have a problem with them until they storm into MY business and start telling me I cant sack some thieving little junkie who has stollen from ME

Oh belly hows those who are going to get the sack from the public transport sector, will labor care not likely.
How about those people booted out from workdirections did labor or the unions care no.

What do you stand for; Labor has no policy and has been asleep at the wheel since they were in opposition.
What labor contracts are ready to go with the labor party for leases, something that labor wastes the people’s money on, just to prop up the labor party.

Why am I running Belly can you not see it yourself.
Labor party corruption, sexual abuse on minors.
And you call yourself representatives of the people more like yourself.
Its about time somebody stood up to this type of representation.

pale while I do not expect Stu to understand anything I thought you would know.
It is public record that Kevin Rudd has watered down the party's promise to rip up workchoices.
He adds more water to this already thin soup each time the miners and wealthy kick him in the shins.
He will have no doubt, be a great Prime Minister, he will return some of the rights unions and indeed all who work need.
His plans include a better unfair dismissal plan, know this, I agree with you! some union officials in some unions do far too much for grubs!
My often quoted reforms for the union movement would definitely include a reminder some need the sack.
In fact working for such as you describe often turns 5 unionists away from the movement to help one who is not worth the effort.
Please understand the deals won by union action are shared quite often by the 4 others who are not in unions.
No one who farms extra money by using unfair dismissal laws is in my view a unionist.
However true unfairness must be addressed.
Tapp you again state what I already know ,more than once, however I remain unimpressed with your ability to understand anything.
Are you aware your defeat is going to prove your remoteness from reality?

So Belly since you already knew did you stand up for the people or just hide it away for the good of the labor party.

How about hiding sexual abuse of minors whilst in custody did you know this as well.

Who was it that shredded the documents, was it kevin the shredder acting in labors interests only.

The labor party

The Head honcho Kevin Rudd known as mrfixit, is he the shredder

A party that hides peadophiles and does not expose them.

A party so corrupt that the only interest is themselves.

You havnt heard anything yet. Lets see how kevin will fair and the labor party after i finish exposing the predators they are.

Now send that to your little mate.

Here you go belly for defamation.
If i am wrong which i am not labor will have me but this will be their downfall, thats why they will not say boo.

I Stu like the freedom we have here, to express our views in public to say what we truly think.
Do you understand that right?
Just how many may be reading our posts?
And even who?
I am a veteran of many forums, this one has become my only home now.
Some faded away ,good sites unable to continue, some found would be masters who unloaded filth and threats on those they disliked until the weight bought the forum down.
Stu I think your posts show symptoms of another problem.
Uncontrolled bitterness, maybe much more.
And an intent to defame my party without thought.
I except it all without pain , your symptoms shown here tell me I am better able to hold my hurt than you, I have no such symptoms.
My last post here made before Rudd's IR statement, was near the mark close to what I predicted.
And Stu, my members know I will fight for justice in the workplace ,fight anyone who threatens it.
I have no need to fight you Stu you fight your own endless battle and your posted untruths are a symptom not a question, last or second last in an election that sees Australians trust the ALP
That will speak for me Stu and sadly it will tell the world how wrong you are.

I don’t know how many workers in Australia at present have their working conditions covered by an award protected by law. I don’t know how many have a minimum wage for their occupation struck at a level that takes into account the cost of living in an ever increasing user pays society and I don’t know how many workers in Australia receive a seventeen and a half percent holiday loading on their wages or have a set number of paid sick days they can draw on if necessary. I don’t know how many workers in Australia get a time and a half or double time wage supplement if they work extra hours or how many have a mandated four weeks leave due to them for their annual work effort. I don’t know how many workers in Australia have set working hours which allow them to raise their families in a manner that can bind a cohesive family unit.

I do know that our current Liberal / National Party government is complicit in an attempt by its political puppet masters the various business lobby groups to take these things away by demolishing the award system leaving each worker free to try and negotiate these conditions on their own. Non union workers should be aware that award conditions won by the collective action of union members flow on to them under the award system.

If you are not a union worker join today, your chances of retaining these conditions on your own under the Howard industrial relations legislation will be zero and if you reckon your boss is OK just think how long he can be if one or more of his competitors with less scruples remove these conditions from their employees. You might like to contact your local coalition member and ask him this. Trust Honest John again? I don’t think so.

What untruths belly

The hiding of peadophiles

The hiding of child sexual abuse and physical abouse

The hiding that nsw labor was going to privatise

The unions now saying nothing but knowing labor will privatise the energy system.

Now beely which is an untruth.

Remember labor said we will not privatise public transport
Now they have said they will not privatise energy.

What a joke

What about the workers belly that stood for labor as not selling out their jobs.

Stuff the worker.

It seems belly that the unions should remember who pays them and as such they are there to stand up for the workers not the labor party.

So workers jobs or labor party which one belly.

I see no one standing up except me about those workers sacked by rudds wifes workdirections.

Where was the union where was combet

We know liking his way up rudds backside.

The workers you lot are just filling them with we will here say and spin.

Its crap you havnt even got a rock solid policy it all bull and talk.

When you start acting like a union man you will get my respect but until then you are just a labor lackey who needs to get his tongue checked for guanna
