Labor MP Anne Aly reckons the proposed deradicalisation program for muslim criminals will not work and I agree with her. Keeping them in jail longer will keep the public safer for longer though.

As Anne Aly says many of the prisoners claim they are in there because of their religion not for terrorism activities. If they hold that view nothing will change the view.

What is the difference between a radical muslim and a so called moderate muslim? One uses a gun or explosives and the other demands that 'those that insult Allah be beheaded'. Not much difference there and they both believe the same thing. One throws homosexuals off tall buildings and the other says they should be. One kills girls for not becoming sex slaves and the other says adultous women should be stoned. Very little between them. Even here in Aus the 'moderates, marched with signs calling for beheadings.
So much for having moderate' views.

It seems plain to me that the only way to prevent more and more radical muslims is to stop importing muslims. If 15-25% hold radical views then we have 100,000 radical muslims here now. So why do we keep importing more? Obviously as they don't like us 'infidels' and have no respect for our laws and society, they would be happier elsewhere.

"What is the difference between a radical muslim and a so called moderate muslim?"

A radical muslim wants to kill, maim and enslave those who do not adhere to what (s)he considers to be the laws of Allah.

On the other hand a moderate muslim wants a radical muslim to kill, maim and enslave those who do not adhere to what (s)he considers to be the laws of Allah.

Deradicalisation is a joke; an expensive joke for Australian taxpayers who did not ask for this rubbish to be brought here.

Yes, I agree with Banjo & Mhaze there will be no such thing as an
deradicalised moslem.
I believe that there are moslems who wish all this trouble would go away.
However to protect ourselves it means trying to sort out those that
will never be radicalised from those that might and from those that will never.
Those that "might" become radicalised will hide that without effort.

So why the hell should we have to bother ?
The safest thing to do is apply aircraft safety rules.
If in doubt DON'T !

In other words for the safety of life do not admit moslems.
Simple isn't it !

Well, yeah, they would say that, wouldn't they ? What's her point, other than to re-name her program "Teaching Tekkia" ?

Of course, genuine deradicalisation (if that's not an oxymoron) can't really go ahead without a questioning of what those criminals see as the instructions in the Koran. Perhaps that's the first step as with any religious dogma; then the rest might follow. Good luck with that: if she's genuine, I wish her well.
