In 2002 John Howards Office fostered DaS Energy development in Carbon storage. It was soon realised with the help of American NASA that CO2 is an excellent Refrigerant.

This proceeded in development of a fridge like design that replaced the Refrigerator restriction valve where the hot high pressure Refrigeration (absorption fridge)is stripped of its energy turning it into cold low pressure liquid.

In this method the energy is wasted as opposed to being converted to shaft power.

By replacement of the restriction valve with a turbine the same hot high pressure gas energy stripping occurs and the Refrigerant turns cold and liquid which like a Steam turbine is pumped back into the boiler.

To drive a 350 megawatt turbine a drive force of 200 bar is required, and if such is provided by Steam then it needs be +600*C.

This same force is obtained using CO2 at a temperature of +50*C.

CO2 if further heated to +100*C provides a force of 10,000 bar.

All of which is web published as Open Technology meaning any person can copy and use.

However there appear little point in doing so in Australia as the LNP has decided all Green Energy must be backed by coal burning such as Photovoltaics and Wind Power.

Set against Tarong Power QLD burning 240 tonne of coal per hour a massive Carbon reduction occurs but does by less coal burning and no need for water.

This is felt to be odd given a massive cost reduction in the production of electricity be of benefit to all.

Full blueprints are available at now cost.

The same design if having a three litre flow per second at +30*C will provide 10KW.

Hello All,

DaS Energy,

Not bright at computers, and now see bad spelling in last post, DaS Energy CO2 turbine should read at no cost, not now cost, it being Open Technology.

Thank You!

DaS, your post does not make sense. CO2 is never a low pressure liquid.
And a bar isn't a unit of force, it's a unit of pressure (10^5 Pascals, which is approximately atmospheric pressure)

Do you actually understand what you're saying?
If so, please rephrase it in a technically accurate way without the rhetoric!

Hello Aidan,

CO2 not above +33*C(70 Bar pressure)can be held as liquid, 1 bar being equal 1 atmosphere.

Above +33*C no amount of pressure shall turn CO2 liquid.

Pressure is a force!

Hello DaS,
"CO2 not above +33*C(70 Bar pressure)can be held as liquid,"
Correct, but that's not exactly low pressure, is it?

"Above +33*C no amount of pressure shall turn CO2 liquid. "
Correct, it's a supercritical fluid.

"Pressure is a force!"
No it's not "a force", it's force per unit area.

Are you able to rephrase your original posting in a technically accurate way? Because right now I can't even tell what you think CO2 turbines are capable of, let alone whether you are correct in that assessment.

Hello Aidan

I usually speak in layman's terms. Unit force is applied to stationary containment.

A 70 bar force is generally known as being low when compared to 10,000 bar.

We passed through thinking in 2002 when we first began modelling.

To obtain the turbine/generator output (82% efficient) 1 litre per second at 9 bar produces 720 watts.

This we developed to replace the 350 megawatt steam cycle turbine +100* to +600*C, by using absorption fridge physics, +30*C 70 bar to +10,000 bar +100*C, leaving a clear 9,000 bar at one litre per second (60RPM) 720KW.

For domestic purposes 3 litres per second (60RPM) -10*C 20 bar to +30*C 70 bar, 10KW.

Wattage output doubles by doubling volume or pressure per second.

After being given to the world in Open Technology at Copenhagen in 2010 the Chinese made the 10KW model(100,000 per year) operating at top heat of +20*C and uses a 1KW electric compressor boost.

Both Engineering forum and Refrigeration forum have the blue prints.

The last development before closing the company is a one piece mechanism which is turbine alone (Engineering forum picture the vertical shaft) whilst the horizontal shaft uses the same part but in different layout.

Quite happy to post on this site the entirety, however as yet not known how this be done.

Its development began after a Church ask to reduce the Carbon levels (in the sealed jar if you like) which is essential our home Planet Earth and it atmosphere.

'morning DaS,

I'm not sure what is going on here. You are using the name of a Turkish registered Corporation that specialises in turbine technology, and there is a weird socialist/warmist blog of the same name? So where do you fit in this?

Do you represent the Turkish Corporation? If so is this a commercial pitch? If it is sourced from your blog, don't you think you should declare your interest, provide some links to the technology you are spruiking, and explain why The Science Forum suspended this debate as "overunity pseudoscience"?

http://www.thescienceforum.com/pseudoscience/32470-das-energy-overunity-pseudoscience.html

If this is a commercial pitch for funds or declarations of interest it should be nominated to GY for deletion.

After DaS Energy developed the CO2 turbine, the name began to pop up all over the world, others can sell it if they wish.

'morning DaS,

Your reluctance to answer any questions is noted. It sounds like you are still trying to sell interest in some technology. Especially with references to the "last product before the company closed"?

You are aligning or leveraging yourself, with a registered international corporation of the same name, whose trading name is protected under international IP laws.

Declaration of interest and links please?

So one more chance before you get referred to GY for deletion.

DaS, if the technology is as good as you say it is, I suggest contacting geothermal energy companies such as Geodynamics, as they'd be much better able to make use of it.

I think you just jumped the shark, DaS Energy.

>>Volkswagen after hearing of DaS Energy liquid piston turbine engine, become Das Auto.<<

That's hilarious. Untrue, of course, but what it lacks in veracity, it more than makes up for in side-splitting humour.

Personally, I don't object to the occasional intrusion of pure fantasy in this forum. But hey, it is only good manners to 'fess up when you are called out on it.

"morning DaS Auto,

You say "How’s that leatherwork going DaS? Fine thanks, though little time for it now!"

I guess this is full blown "Gottcha" moment? You nailed yourself.

Why on earth didn't you provide links and declare your interests up front, rather than suffer the embarrassment of being publicly outed as a fraud?

I'll be watching to see if you cover your little OLO escapade on your own blog?

As a turd of the first order, you have now discovered the intellectual might of a real blog like the one run by professionals such as GY and his OLO advocates (happy anniversary GY).

So why don't you adopt the foetal position, suck on your thumb and give us all another giggle on your way out?

As Pericles rightly suggests, We all get to have our say on OLO but "it is only good manners to fess up when you are called out on it".

Happy days!

Can anyone answer this,

As a vegetarian and a person who visited the Das Energy website - one of the "renewable" energy systems (based on fuel type) is 'animal' fat.

My question is therefore, does any of this "animal fat" come from the animal fat of humans?

I consider humans to be part of animal world. Also using animal fat, I question the term renewable, isn't "killed to death" (or something similar) the correct term to be using?

Hello NathanJ,

Could you provide by cut and paste how to locate the Das Energy website you refer to as Google search is not bringing it up.

However I do have memory of reading of a renewable energy concept as you describe.

To answer you question. Renewable energy often involves a life and death occurrence in its process, Ethanol being one such fuel in example.

DaS,
"Aidan, China is doing very well with it thanks, It not require Geothermal heat, only a temperature greater then -30*C."
I understood you were claiming it was a more efficient way of generating energy from heat.
Was my understanding correct? (And if not, WTF are you claiming?)

Therefore, surely the issue isn't whether it requires geothermal heat, but whether the geothermal energy industry could benefit from it?

DaS Energy

The first law of thermodynamics says that you cannot create energy, thus to generate power from the non reactive CO2, you need to impart at least that amount of energy into the CO2.

The second law of increasing enthalpy means that you can't get as much out as you put in. So unless you can provide an endless source of free compressed CO2, your system is worthless.

DaS Energy,

The following is a link to The Science Florum thread discussing your overunity pseudoscience.

I note that you were suspended by the moderator and that your claims were hammered and treated with the derision they deserve. You made even less sense to them than you do here.

This link provides the thread comments in their entirety. At least until you were suspended that is.

You seem obsessed with denying the laws of nature, why?

This looks very much like a re-run of DaS Energy's skirmish on www.thescienceforum.com/

A complete waste of time, except for the slightly uncomfortable humour value associated with observing someone who has such a bee in their bonnet, they cannot see how ridiculous they appear to others.

Time to let this one slide into oblivion again, methinks.

Without commenting on the thermodynamics or the practicality of the CO2 Turbine Generator I would like to know how it is proposed to capture the CO2 to be used in the generator. It is not practical to extract it from the atmosphere. There are proposals to try and extract it from the exhaust gases of coal fired power stations but that is turning out to not be very practical.
