In a world where almost everything is run by machines it not surprising that we are also running out of energy sources what worsens the case is that the energy sources that we use are destroying the world we are living in. Another dilemma people are now facing is these energy sources are bound to vanish years from now.

The potential of renewable sources is massive as they are expected to meet world’s energy demand. Renewable energy sources are biomass, hydro power, geothermal, solar, wind and marine energies they can provide sustainable energy services, based on the use of routinely available, indigenous resources. The renewable resources such as biomass, wind, solar, hydro power, and geothermal can provide sustainable energy services, based on the use of routinely available, indigenous resources are attractive renewable fuel in utility boilers.

While price of gas continue to fluctuate a transition to renewable-based energy systems is looking increasingly likely as their costs decline. Solar and wind powers continue their rapid sales growth in the past 30 years. Due to this their capital costs and costs of electricity generated, and have continued to improve their performance characteristics while fossil fuel and renewable energy prices, and social and environmental costs are heading in opposite directions. The economic and policy methods needed to support the widespread dissemination and sustainable markets for renewable energy systems are evolving fast.

Welcome to the author.
It is not surprising you have not had much response a deep vein of climate change denial lives here in OLO too.
Not much different than the self serving diatribes of the Murdock Comic book the Australian news paper.
I a center left fixed on , have an increasing allergy to any thing tainted by the shadow of the Greens.
Yet your well informed comments are quite true.
We are well on the way to cleaner fuels and a far better result.
Including in my view an increasing acceptance of the need for action.
No discussion, in my view about this subject can bring results unless it includes just why the right is against change.
And most importantly, are we acting too late to avoid much of the pain.
Include are we acting in too little a fashion too.

“In a world where almost everything is run by machines”? Like what and what does almost everything mean? Or do you mean electric cars that plug into the conventional grid?

“it not surprising that we are also running out of energy sources”? Get a grip. The USA has enough shale oil energy alone for domestic consumption for the next 600 years, peak oil died 10 years ago, time to update.

“what worsens the case is that the energy sources that we use are destroying the world we are living in? Really? How so? Or are you referring to the 17,000 rotting wind turbines that nobody can afford to dismantle?

“Another dilemma people are now facing is these energy sources are bound to vanish years from now”. True. Now try to figure out just how many years from now?

“The potential of renewable sources is massive as they are expected to meet world’s energy demand. Renewable energy sources are biomass, hydro power, geothermal, solar, wind and marine energies”. Then how do you explain the fact that after 30 years and $74 bn Euros, Germany has managed to meet just 6% of total demand with all these technologies?

If renewable energy is so good, can you explain why Germany is building 22 new coal fired power stations? Why their coal use is growing at 3.2% pa? Or why they are now burning lignite from the former East Germany which now represents 32.8% of their total power contribution?

If you are going to join in, you will need to do a better job on research rather than doing a cut and paste from the WWF monthly newsletter.
