Good article Rodrigo, especially talking about the US role in the region. The Monroe doctrine lives.

I'm not so sure about the drugs stuff, but I guess it is possible.

I'd like to know more about the FARC. I suspect their theory and mine are completely at odds. I know their tactics are and that means that they haven't got a Marxist theory at all. This appears common in Latin America where petty bourgeois intellectuals have taken power in the name of the people rather than through a democratic and working class revolution.

But you article has prompted me, along with the murder and border build ups to look at what my comrades have to say about the FARC.
