The US's foreign policy in Nicaragua - Washington will certainly be looking to impose its dictates over this impoverished country.

Careful what you joke about, reality is wierder than jest. Oliver North DID go down to Nic. to tell voters they've "suffered enough", and do a little (alright, alot) of historical revisionism.

Ah, now it becomes clear, Ortega has lined up backing from the Catholic Church, who will probably broker a working relationship with Washington. No wonder his former comrades in arms deserted him to form a new party
