The 'left' should be eradicated ?! A bit harsh. How would you go about doing that, once you've seized power ? How would you stop all sorts of ideas, including even those which are genuinely Left, from sprouting spontaneously ?

There will always be a very wide variety of ideas, from perfectly sensible ones like mine, to the utterly crackpot, which can be labelled in some way 'Left'. Yes, there are many adult children on the 'Left' with their either-or mentality (for example, either Trump or Hillary, nobody else) and their John-Lennon-type 'Imagine' that if only everybody would hold hands and say "Om", there would eternal peace throughout the land. And of course, there will always be the crypto-fascists on the Left with their Utopian blueprints, never to beg changed or criticised - hence there will always be the potential executioners too.

That's okay: let a thousand flowers bloom, so that we can see what they look like.
