By Kellie Tranter, published 31/1/2017If we participate in illegal military incursions into sovereign nations, what responsibilities do we have for documenting the loss of life? If we honour lives shouldn't we also value them? Lest we forget the innocents?

I find Kelly's hand wringing guilt fest typical of the hysterical left whinge irrationality.
Firstly, the actions were not illegal, as there are defined situations where military action is condoned, and the allies went to great lengths to tick all the boxes. Secondly, it has been shown that carefully selected airstrikes dramatically reduce civilian casualties. However, this makes an accurate toll count virtually impossible. Finally, ISIS has been killing far more civilians than the allies ever did, and the actions of the allies has saved many thousands more than the relative handful that have been killed. Given the raucous condemnation coming from the left whingers when no one intervened in Rwanda, this is rank hypocrisy. Posted by Shadow Minister, Tuesday, 31 January 2017 2:53:54 PM

So many questions along the same lines that one could ask!
How about: how many non-muslims would arabs kill, if they could? The answer is: all of 'em unless they agree to live as dhimmis, because that's what Allah says to do. Posted by PaulMurrayCbr, Wednesday, 1 February 2017 12:13:01 AM

Hey Alan B.
"But given they and their soulless kindred, the drug lords of Asia, the Taliban, use them as alternative sandbags! There is bound to be some unfortunate casualties! Highly regrettable and I would it were different!" Are you making the false assumption that the Taliban are responsible for drug production? The Taliban eliminated opium production; it was only restarted after the US invaded. "Because if we don't Kellie, even numskulls like yourself will be no better than bagatell, goods and chattel, able to be traded like cattle or sold or used as your seeming lord and masters dictate!" Alan, what you need to understand is that's exactly what the west does. Day 100. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPdPI3KSqbA Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 1 February 2017 7:33:58 AM

Tranter uses OLO to run her predictable propaganda against Western civilisation from the perspective of the dim witted Left. Often. But never responds to any of the points raised against her pap. And there are always many.
Perhaps I'm being unkind and she simply has learning difficulties. Or maybe OLO should just stop running her stuff until she responds to readers. After all, it doesn't take much effort for her to run her toxic bile, then sit with her fingers in her ears shouting "nyah, nyah, nyah" for a few days. This war has been going for 1400 plus years.
Islam invaded Europe, Persia, Africa and India numerous times and left many millions of dead people behind them. It is only Islam that has a policy, written by Allah to kill the infidel. Mohomadds policy was always one of genocide based on religion. It is still the same, just ask the Yadizis. Either we kill them in the Middle East or in Europe and Australia. I know which I prefer, but I think the next battle will be in France. I do not think the French are angry enough yet to fight back. Kellie I am afraid is worrying about the wrong people. This is true for combatants and non combatants.
If you don't want to die, then flee or stay out of harm's way.
You may as well ask 'How many people have cars killed?'
None, they 'died' on the roads.
In war, folks die, but in life, it is the same, time will cause us all to die, just as it, enables us to live.
