Are Australians averse to engaging with the world? : Comments

Australian's are oversusceptible to emotion led responses to difficult problems of state relations that have a detrimental effect on the ability of our governments to engage with important countries.

Now, with two socialist parties on the go, Australia will be even more in thrall to the loony-left busybodies who cannot find enough wrong with Australia to satisfy their lust for dogooding. Australia is a tin pot nanny state, dictated to by the United Nations. Other countries are never going to listen to us tut-tutting them. We should be getting whatever we can in trade, and leaving what we believe are their faults for them to work out.

I don't see it! And certainly not in our history or DNA. We've been involved in practically every war after Gettysburg up to and including the vietnam war, at enormous cost!

Today is different and we know who the barking mad enemy is! That said it's hard to get involved in other nations internal civil wars or understand who are just war criminals trying to beat earned justice by playing us for fools?

The ANU is giving them away these days so it seems.

Let's look at this a more local level. the author is suggesting if i her the guy next door threatening the hits his wife I should mind my own business? Just ensure my on house is in order.
