Arctic oil on life support : Comments

This author seems to know something about his subject, which is good, but oil production above the arctic circle is not going to be happening anytime soon. Sure there are those who would factor in climate change but basically we're talking about offshore and onshore Northern Canada and Russia, and it was my impression was that recent Northern winters have been quite severe. The sea ice, despite repeated forecasts of its demise, is still around.

All this means there has to be good reason to go there and with the oil glut and low oil prices there is no reason.
