Egypt at a crossroad : Comments

Islamist supporters of the President, through sheer force of numbers protesting outside the courts, have last week physically prevented judges from meetings with the bicameral parliament.

Yes, and the two choices are, universal suffrage, aided and abetted by a bill or irrevocable rights; particularly those applicable to females!
Or a descent into anarchy and or, civil war.
Or troubles, the like of which troubled northern Ireland for decades?
The vast majority are not going to stand still, while a minority of miscreants, subverts the Arab summer, for rank opportunistic political purpose, or the subjugation, AGAIN, of a population?
Who can and will revolt!
Besides, if the Muslim brotherhood have their way, the four billions in annual American aid, which keeps the Egyptian army paid and equipped, is going to dry up?
And one can rest assured that the army, or rather its governing generals, are not going to tolerate that!
Enough already!
