This looks like one of the commercials written up as news that Media Watch goes on about.

Tales of the City was a late night obscurity in this country.

Oops a little opinion might offend a demographic!

It’s fun and groovy to make San Francisco out to be progressive, while hiding the later AIDS epidemic in the closet (not to mention the sad death tolls). No wonder the bisexual Camille Paglia has come out against San Fran's gay bathhouse culture.

And this person is from a journalism background? Please. Where are her critical-thinking skills and the other sides (plural) to the story? It runs like an advertisement for a friend. Tales from a Place Called Denial, I say.
